Kara in wonderland Vs Alice in wonderland

When reading new books i like to have an open mind  when getting this book i read if i like the lord of the rings i would definitely like this, i am not a fan of lord of the rings which is why  im glad i didn't read it other wise i do what i have normally done when reading books if there is a similar theme.  This book i loved it and i felt i was in the book you were given the right amount of information to imagine your self there.

Kara is on a hike in the woods and comes across a gazebo with unusual markings thinking nothing of it she continues her hike in the woods suddenly she sees a blue flash and think she is seeing things, she comes across a door in the mountain, she notices  that the door has the same markings as the gazebo she try's the door but it doesn't budge she feels the ground move beneath her and pushes with all he might  she comes through the door and falls through the dirt and see tree roots, she comes a cross a book called the Grimoire and is told is that she is now a Vagabond  she find she has entered another world.  where  inhabitants of the world are divided Ourea is divided up.

She meets a  handsome man  named Braedon Drakonin and is willing to help her but he has a motive for helping her, Breadon has been living a lie for the past 12 years although he begins to care for the human Kara he wants some thing else he wants his freedom he wants the Grimoire and will do any thing to get it.

ahhh this book sucked me in, each chapter sucked me in i felt like i had a front row seat watching the whole book, Kara going through struggles as she copes with her mothers death and blames her self for it, this book goes through alot of suppressed emotion for the character kara ignoring he feelings and blocking the real world out  when she meets Braedon she sees some thing in him their friendship develops and half way through the book im waiting for them to kiss, but its doesn't happen, S.M.Boyce has done a master and i am a fan i felt the book was a unique version of Alice in Wonderland, where she stumbles across another world  the the little creature she finds that i can't pronounce aka flick the only way i could visualise   him was to think of Pokemon characters and then thinking i want one as a pet, this book is imaginative and it makes a unique world come alive  i cant wait to read the next book as i am wanting to continue the story of Kara and Braedon  to see if they take that chance on love i can only hope that it lets them find out who they can really be.
